CERTIFIED DESIGNATED EMPLOYER REPRESENTATIVE (C-DER) Renewal Exam

This is an optional examination that reconfirms a Designated Employer Representative (DER) can demonstrate the professional knowledge required to (1) qualify the individual as a DER under U.S. Department of Transportation rule 49 CFR Part 40 and (2) meet the requirements for the National Drug and Alcohol Screening Association’s (NDASA) CDER certification. It may be taken periodically as an enhancement to NDASA’s C-DER training course. NDASA recommends C-DER refresher training is completed every 3 years at a minimum.
